Chicken Opor - Indonesia Cuisine

Recipe How to Make Chicken Opor Yellow Delicious Easy 

Ingredients To Make Chicken Yellow Opor: 

     1 whole chicken, cut into ten 
     250 ml thick coconut milk 
     1000 ml thin coconut milk 
     1 stalk lemongrass 
     2 cm galangal 
     2 bay leaves 
     3 sheets of orange leaves 
     Oil for sauteing 


Yellow Chicken Seasoning Opor: 

     1 tsp pepper grain, toasted 
     1 1/2 tsp coriander, toasted 
     1 tsp cumin, toasted 
     4 cloves of garlic 
     7 spring onions 
     5 grains hazelnut, toasted 
     2 cm turmeric, roasted / grilled 
     1 cm ginger, roasted / grilled 
     Salt and sugar to taste 


How to Make Chicken Yellow Opor: 

     Saute ground spices until fragrant, put lemongrass, bay leaves, lime leaves, and galangal. 
     Add chicken, stir until well blended chicken seasoning. 
     Add thin coconut milk and cook until the chicken is tender. 
     Once the chicken is tender, enter the thick coconut milk, stir so that milk is not broken. 
     Cook until boiling.
